Akwi Debora Tah-Nji 1933-1974

Deborah Akwi was a hard working, loving and caring mother who paid particular attention to the happiness of her family and the progress of her community. As a peasant cultivator, she tilled the soil and kept the hearth to and participated in many activities relating to the Church and society.

Deborah Akwi served as an elected elder of the Presbyterian Church in Tugi for 21 years, a member of the Halleluya Choir, an Adviser to a number of women groups and the treasurer of several associations. She lived a very faithful and friendly life to put in tremendous effort to entertain her family and friends. She was always a very integral part of the community in which she served.
